Brad Whiteman

Brad was the son of two Foreign Service Officers and spent 14 of his first 17 years in Europe.  After graduating from high school in Athens, Greece he returned to the U.S. to attend Williams College in Massachusetts and was commissioned in the U.S. Army upon graduating.  Brad served 10 years on active duty, first as a Field Artillery officer with 10th Mountain Division and then as a Special Forces officer with 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), completing multiple combat deployments to Iraq.  Following his separation from active duty, Brad earned his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business.  He also joined the West Virginia Army National Guard and served the next 7 years with 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne).  Brad and his wife have four children and own and operate FlyDog Yoga in Charlottesville. They both remain very active in military, veteran, and military spouse organizations.
