On Sunday, May 3, 2026, 3-5pm, ParadeRest will partner with local chapters of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion to host a community gathering recognizing young men and women from the region who are preparing to raise their right hand and serve. The event brings veterans, families, and community members together to thank and encourage the next generation of service members before they begin their journey.

ParadeRest’s Called To Serve program prepares young men and women for military service through academic support, physical fitness training, and mentorship from veterans and active-duty service members. Participants build the knowledge, strength, and discipline needed for enlistment while gaining a clear understanding of service. On May 3, 2026, ParadeRest will host a community gathering with the VFW and American Legion to recognize and encourage those preparing to take the oath.
